Team Chicago would thank you for your help in making Gay Games VII a great experience for Chicagoans and people from throughout the world !
Team Chicago is currently looking for people to carry out the following tasks:
- Serve as a liaison with a specific sport, sports organization, and/or league.
- Help Team Chicago produce the promotional events we are planning through Gay Games VIII.
- Help promote participation in Gay Games VIII, the Midwest GLBT Sports and Cultural Festival, and other sporting/cultural events.
- Work on providing content for our website and the email blasts through which we communicate with you, our members and a wider audience throughout the Midwest.
- Fundraising activities to raise money for scholarships. There will be two groups of beneficiaries: Team Chicago members who need financial assistance to attend Gay Games VIII and the Namibian soccer team that reached out to us in 2001.
We also need volunteers to develop and maintain relationships with media collaborators, not only in Chicago, but also throughout the Midwest.
